With more on-camera interviews from the Capitol Mall, images from LEGISLATURE LIVE, and more than a decade of Statehouse experience, host Greg Hahn intends to give Idahoans more voices, video and viewpoints this year on IDAHO REPORTS.
“We can pull back the curtain and see how things are working over there and offer that extra context and depth — what it means,” Hahn says. “We are going to record more on-site interviews so we will have a broader group of people on air.”
The one-hour weekly show during the legislative session will include a revolving panel of Statehouse officials, legislators and lobbyists, and will also feature a panel of academics and journalists.
“We want to take a look at how what they are talking about in the Statehouse will impact people around the state,” Hahn says.
Hahn also plans to find ways to talk about Statehouse history and the culture; how the relationships of legislators, lobbyists and reporters have evolved over the years; and delve into specific issues such as the economy, jobs, redistricting and more.
