IdahoPTV Hosts "New Media Strategies for Journalists"

On June 29, Idaho Public Television hosted a presentation by Marshall Simmonds, Chief Search Strategist for the New York Times. He talked with members of the Idaho Press Club via IdahoPTV's videostreaming and videoconferencing facilities. Topics covered included optimizing websites for search engines and integrating new social media like Facebook and Twitter into a media organization's online efforts.
