Waste equals food. That's the philosophy of world-renowned architect and designer William McDonough. Time magazine recognized McDonough as a hero for the planet because of his unified sustainable designs, a step beyond just constructing green buildings.
Joan Cartan-Hansen talks with McDonough about his work, his philosophy of "cradle-to-cradle" design, and the concept of the "Next Industrial Revolution." McDonough was in Idaho as part of Boise State University's Distinguished Lecture Series.
