Haynes Johnson

Host Marcia Franklin sits down with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and political commentator Haynes Johnson.

Johnson discusses his recent nonfiction book, The Age of Anxiety: McCarthyism to Terrorism, in which he examines the parallels between the McCarthy era of the 1950s and today's post-9/11 political arena. He also offers his opinions about the state of journalism today.
