Bio for Scott Dorval

Chief Meteorologist, KIVI TV, Boise

After growing up in Rhode Island, Scott attended The Pennsylvania State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in meteorology. His first position as a television meteorologist came in 1986 at a cable station in the state of Rhode Island. After one year he accepted a position as Weekend Meteorologist at WVIT in Hartford, CT. Then he decided to move out west to Boise. For over eleven years he was the meteorologist at KBCI in Boise; in 2004 he became the Chief Meteorologist at Boise's KIVI-TV (Channel 6).
