A

ammonia
a colorless liquid which emits a strong smell, a waste product of the human body
antiperspirant
a product for reducing perspiration

bacteria
a microscopic living organism
bladder
the part of the body that holds urine until time to eliminate
by-product
something that is created by a process, often not the intended result, but more of a left over

C

carbon dioxide
a gas found in the atmosphere, also a waste product of the human body
cerumen
ear wax
chemicals
a substance that is made or used in a chemical process
chyme
The partly digested food that leaves the stomach and moves to the small intestine
complex
complicated

D

debris
something to get rid of, often garbage
deodorant
a product used to cover up odors
discharge
to release or let go
dissolve
to break down matter into smaller pieces

eardrum
the part of the ear that transfers sound
excrement
the solid waste product of an animal
exhale
to let air out of the lungs

feces
another name for excrement
flatulence
gas released from a living thing
flatus
gas released from a living thing

a non-solid, non-liquid material that has no shape of its own
glands

a portion of the brain that governs certain functions

a kidney shaped organ that helps process urine

groups of cells that have a specific job

the opening in your body where excrement leaves

a poisonous by-product of digesting protein
ureter
muscular ducts that propel urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder
urethra
a channel through which urine leaves the body

a liquid waste product created by the kidneys

villi
Hair-like parts of the small intestine which absorb the liquid food and transfer nutrients directly into the blood
