A river in the Idaho wilderness

Rivers have a life. They have a beginning and an end. Rivers change the land through which they flow. They give us water to drink, energy we convert to electricity, and a place for plants and animals to live. Rivers play an important part in all our lives. But where do they start? How do they change? Where does the water go?

The guest scientists for "Rivers" are:

  • Dr. Jan Boll, Professor of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, University of Idaho
  • Cindy Busche, Environmental Education Coordinator, Boise Watershed Project
