Bio for Dr. David Bettis

Pediatric Neurologist, St. Luke's Regional Medical Center

Dr. Bettis attended college at Yale University where he received a degree in psychology. He went to medical school at the University of Colorado, did training in pediatrics at Children's Hospital in Seattle, and completed training in Child Neurology back in Colorado. He has been an Idaho resident since 1987 and is the proud father of three lovely daughters.

Bio for Dr. Mikaela Sebree

Pediatric Neuropsychologist, St. Luke's Children's Hospital

I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at University of Idaho and went on to do a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Addition Studies at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin in August 2006.

My predoctoral internship was completed at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. I completed two-year postdoctoral residency in pediatric neuropsychology at Children's Hospital, Boston/Harvard Medical School. During my postdoctoral fellowship, I conducted research with Debbie Waber, Ph.D., exploring the long-term neurocognitive outcomes of children treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

I am currently on staff at St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise. Outside of work, I have an adorable little pug named Jaxson who keeps me on my toes!
