Bio for Dr. Mary River

Neurologist, St. Alphonsus Hospital (Boise)

Mary River, a board-certified neurologist, has been in practice in Boise since 2000. She completed her internship and residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. River is the medical director of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center's Stroke Program. Her particular clinical interests include headache management, Multiple Sclerosis, and stroke care. She also oversees the neurology rotations for Family Practice residents.

Her interests outside of medicine include her family, her pets, and running on the Greenbelt whenever possible.
