Robyn grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and began her career working for the Phoenix National Weather Service office as a part-time student employee in 1998. She later became an intern upon graduation from Arizona State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. In 2001, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to work for a utility and power trading company. She returned to the National Weather Service in late 2003 and joined the office in Boise, Idaho as a general forecaster.
Today Robyn works at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise as the Assistant National Fire Weather Program Manager for the federal fire agencies. Robyn enjoys the unique nature of working in weather in that no two days are alike.
When not working, Robyn enjoys spending time with her husband of 6 years and her 6 month old "junior meteorologist." She is also a long-time advocate and volunteer for the March of Dimes organization and a member of Toastmasters International.
