Idaho Public Television has joined forces with more than 500 fellow members of the Gem State's nonprofit sector for the second annual “Idaho Gives” statewide fundraising drive.
On May 1, Idaho Gives will bring Idaho's citizens and the state's nonprofit organizations together for a 24-hour period of online charitable giving and sharing. The campaign encourages Idahoans to donate to their favorite nonprofit anytime from 12 midnight to 11:59 p.m. MT. Donations also can be made before and after the May 1 drive.
Coordinated by the Idaho Nonprofit Center, Idaho Gives shines the spotlight on the important work done by the nonprofits in the state. It is a day for Idahoans to come together with one voice of support for Idaho's nonprofits, big and small.
“Idaho Public Television is pleased to be part of Idaho Gives and the opportunity it gives us to share our mission: to serve every Idaho community with educational programming and other services that provide perspective on the affairs of our complex state and world as well as access to lifelong learning,” said Ron Pisaneschi, IdahoPTV’s general manager.
