Idaho Public Television provides coverage when Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter conveys his vision for 2010 to the Legislature and the state’s citizens during his State of the State and Budget Address on Monday, January 11.
IdahoPTV airs the speech live on its main channel at 1:00 p.m./12:00 noon MT/PT when Otter presents his objectives for the 2010 legislative session and his proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Immediately following Otter’s address, Thanh Tan, host of IdahoPTV’s Idaho Reports, will be joined by three political experts who will provide insight into and analysis of the governor’s plans. The panel members are Kevin Richert, editorial page editor of The Idaho Statesman, Gary Moncrief, a professor of political science at Boise State University, and Wayne Hammond, director of Idaho’s Division of Financial Management. The length of the live panel discussion will depend on length of Otter’s speech.
The governor’s speech is repeated Monday, January 11, at 8:00 p.m. MT/PT and on Idaho Public Television’s high-definition (digital subchannel 2) at 9:00/8:00 p.m. MT/PT.
