PBS Programs with Extended Videotaping Rights for Educators
A message to Idaho Educators...

Most of the programs we air that will be appropriate for use in the classroom have companion web-sites and extended videotaping rights for K-12 educators.  In addition, many have print and video resources designed specifically for use in the classroom.

For specific definitions of extended videotaping rights for K-12 educators, please read PBS TV for Teachers Copyright and Extended Rights information.  There is also a simple list of all Idaho Public Television programs with educational off-air record rights.

If you see a program listed in our regular program schedule that you can use in your classroom, but were unable to record, please let us know!  We will do our best to get it on the air for you during our ITV overnight broadcasts.

PBS On-line offers a monthly list of PBS programs that air on IdahoPTV, accessible by subject area.  However this list only portrays a small portion of our programming, it does not include local productions, programming we get from other sources, or our Instructional TV programs selected specifically for classroom and professional development use in Idaho.
