An American farmer feeds 128 people--86 domestic and 42 foreign. American farmers produce 50 percent of the world’s corn. Farming isn’t confined to land. We farm the oceans for fish and other seafood, and Idaho is no. 1 in trout production. Farming is the first recorded occupation of man.
