A wide shot of Dunanda Falls

Dunanda Falls

This falls is located on Boundary Creek about nine miles up the trail from the Bechler Ranger Station. The one hundred fifty foot high falls wasn’t discovered by Europeans until 1920.

One of the unique features of this cascade is the hot pool at the base of the falls.

“And we decided this is too good to pass up so we just had to get in and enjoy ourselves and it was truly a treat in the wilderness. For me—this is what life is all about—being out in this wonderful outdoor, this wilderness with friends in a relaxing hot pool with nature all around us. It was superb to me.”
