"I want to capture incredible moments in time. I like being away from people and seeing nature in its pure unadultered state. Idaho has a huge amount of wilderness, and the Sawtooths are just one example of that."

Mark Lisk's innate talent for visualizing strong composition and subtle light enables him to capture vivid emotion and provoking images. Lisk operates a commercial photo studio in Boise, shooting location stock, and assignment work for a wide range of clients. He has produced work or appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Jeep Corporation, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Horizon Air, Hewlett Packard, Brown Trout Calendars, Cold Water Creek, The Wilderness Society, to name a few.

This Chasing the Light profile was excerpted from Picturing Idaho.
