Waterfall Creek

Mile 78

group hiking and looking at waterfall creekWaterfall Creek gives boaters a chance to scramble up a granite rock face and actually get behind a waterfall. It's not a place to lose your balance, but it's certainly worth the effort!

For the next 25 miles, from Waterfall Creek rapid to Devil's Tooth Rapid, the river heads into a granite-walled canyon. Waterfalls, rapids and big horn sheep exist in abundance through this section of the river.
