RIVER SONGSJoyce Vetter sings "Ever Met a River?"
Songwriter Joyce Vetter came to love the Salmon River Country when she worked as a river guide on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. During the day she would handle the oaring duties on the big sixteen foot rafts and safely guide tourists through treacherous Class IV whitewater. And in the evenings she would compose songs and sing for her new friends.
The two songs that are used in the hour program "The Salmon River Country" are from her second album entitled "From the River and My Soul." Listen to Joyce sing "Ever Met A River?" and "River Runnin' Down".
Joyce has dedicated these songs "to the girls and boys that I've boated with. Their ability to share a special environment with such respect, enthusiasm, finesse and theatrics is outstanding . . . leaving behind only great memories and a pristine area for a new day and new eyes to behold."
