Breaking the Silence: Journeys of Hope This groundbreaking documentary on domestic violence tells stories of women who have broken their silence and who have taken the first step toward self-empowerment and new lives. BREAKING THE SILENCE focuses on how communities can successfully assist women in obtaining legal and medical help, as well as ensure their safety and protection.
A toolkit is available to enable groups to present a training workshop appropriate for volunteer Guardians ad Litem, attorneys, social workers and profession features presentations on the following topics:

The training was developed by Boise's Family Advocate Program's Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program in collaboration with Idaho Public Television. Each segment is introduced with video clips from the program.
