F.S. Key After The Song

Francis Scott Key wrote The Star-Spangled Banner in 1814, and was also an ambitious political operative and defender of the slavery system. The series is a window into antebellum society and the attitudes and behavior of Americans on slavery that lead to Civil War and in some ways still exist to this day. The film centers on interviews between the filmmaker Phillip J.
