Dr. Patrick Jamieson, a dashing but unconventional surgeon, takes over Digby Manor to house his medical unit that treats burned airmen. Chief Inspector Christopher Foyle's son, Andrew, a spitfire pilot, is placed on leave after an argument with a member of the RAF ground crew.
