"The Mystery of Edwin Drood"
This psychological thriller about provincial choirmaster John Jasper's obsession with 17-year-old Rosa Bud and the lengths to which he will go to attain her was left unfinished by Charles Dickens' death. Rosa Bud is in love with Edwin Drood, Jasper's young ward whom the older man dreams of killing. Drood disappears, apparently through foul play. Now writer Gwyneth Hughes follows in the footsteps of other brave wordsmiths, and provides an ending for this tale. G
