It makes him the voice of the nation in the 1920s and 1930s. This film profiles the cowboy, comedian, author, columnist, social commentator, vaudeville performer, movie and radio star. Archival footage and interviews tell the story narrated by Bill Kurtis. "Politics," Rogers maintained, "has become so expensive that it takes a lot of money even to be defeated." G
