The only funeral parlor in Three Rivers, Texas, refuses to allow its chapel to be used for a service for Pvt. Felix Longoria, who died fighting the Japanese during World War II, because "the whites wouldn't like it." The action divides the town, becomes national news and brings together two stubborn and savvy leaders, Sen. Lyndon Johnson and activist Dr. Hector Garcia. G
