"Teenagers in the Disaster Hit Communities Striving to be Citizens of the World"
Swiss fashion designer Kazu Huggler has been helping people in the city of Rikuzen Takata, which suffered terribly in the disaster. She linked up in January, 2013 with a team of sewing Tohoku Grandmas who live in temporary housing to set up a project for recovery through handicrafts. They made tote bags, purses and other samples for introduction in Switzerland and received an order for 300 pin cushions that Kazu had designed. D
