Saturday, Jan 7, 2012 - 7:00 PM    "Herbie Hancock, Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil Celebrate Gershwin" Dudamel, the philharmonic music director, and jazz pianist Herbie Hancock, the philharmonic's creative chair for jazz, present George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" as part of opening night of the orchestra's 2011-2012 season. Also on the program are "An American in Paris" and Hancock's unique improvisation of "Someone to Watch Over Me." G
