"Margaret Mitchell: American Rebel"
An Atlanta debutante, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Gone With the Wind challenges social restrictions placed on women; becomes one of Georgia's first female newspaper reporters; and uses money from her book to fund many causes, including scholarships for black medical students. Mitchell (1900-1949) suffers from depression and illness, yet personally answers every letter received about her book and works tirelessly for the American Red Cross during World War II. G
