Houda al-Habash, a conservative Muslim preacher, founded a Qur'an school for girls in Damascus, Syria, 30 years ago where female students studied Islam resulting in a cultural shift with women claiming space within the mosque. This portrait, filmed just before the uprising in Syria, shows a leader who challenges women in her community to live according to Islam, without giving up their dreams. G
