On Story  "Script to Screen: The Revenant"  Screenwriter Mark L. Smith discusses adapting The Revenant from book to screen, working with Alejandro Inarritu, and getting that famous bear attack right. For their work on this stunning - and freezing - historical picture, Inarritu won the Academy Award for Best Director, Emmanual Lubezki won for Best Cinematography, and DiCaprio won his first award for Best Actor. D

Cyberchase  "Spellbound"  When Wicked casts a spell on the Pompadorians to make them all adore her, Jackie and Digit must reproduce the only symbol that can break it - without being able to see what the symbol looks like. Matt and Inez can't get to Pompadoria to help, so they describe the symbol through their Skwak. But how can they describe the odd-looking spell-breaker accurately so Jackie can make a reproduction that works?. D

Quilting Arts  "The Art of Being An Artist"  What makes a person an artist? Where does that spark first burn? There is an art to nurturing and fanning the embers of creativity. Susan Shie is back to inspire us by sharing her life's journey to becoming an artist. Then Jill Jensen takes a different type of journey as she describes her process of making a weekly quilt for 18 years! These small quilts include journaling on the back and illustrate a disciplined approach to being an artist. D

Pati's Mexican Table  "Tamaliza!"  An episode dedicated to one of Mexico's most iconic foods: tamales. Pati will cook a few variations of tamales, both savory and sweet, then her girlfriends stop by for a tamal party - a tamaliza! Simply Ming  "Arctic Char with Fanney Dora Sigurjonsdottir, Vodka Coctail"  Ming's third visit in Iceland is to chef Fanney Dora Sigurjonsdottir who is head chef at Skal!, an experimental bar and restaurant in Reykjavik's Hlemmur Food Hall. Ming meets chef Sigursjonsdottir at the Reyka vodka distillery, where they learn about the volcanic rock-purified water that goes into making their special liquor and get inspired for making cocktails back at the bar. Then, they gather up produce at Hlemmur Food Hall together and prepare Arctic char, one of the northernmost fish species with beautiful depth of flavor. D

Ellie's Real Good Food  "It's My Party"  Ellie prepares an ensemble of make-ahead dishes that are designed so that both party-giver and partygoers can equally enjoy the festivities.
