On Story  "Script to Screen: Snowpiercer"  Join Snowpiercer co-writer Kelly Masterson as he dissects the story's journey from graphic novel to script-to-screen. Masterson will reference specific scenes from the film-with clips projected throughout-and discuss writing for a multinational audience, the writer/director relationship with Joon-ho Bong, writing through language barriers, and the layered messages throughout the film. Cyberchase  "The Emperor Has Snow Clothes"  Hacker has crowned himself Emperor of Penguia and deposited the real emperor as a frozen statue in a distant corner of the site. The CyberSquad arrives just as a crippling snowstorm makes its way across Penguia in a path that seems destined to collide with their rescue. Digit uses updates on the storm's progress from cyberweathercaster Stormy Gale (Janice Huff) to help the kids track the storm. D

Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting  "Lightning in a Bottle"  Learn to make jar-shaped blocks for this wall hanging, perfect for novelty prints featuring vegetables or, in this case, butterflies and lightning bugs! Ken makes a mouthwatering Thai sausage with oyster aioli and Ming rivals that with butter poached oysters with lapchong salsa. It's oysters two ways this week on Simply Ming. D

Mike Colameco's Real Food  "Speedy Romeo"  College buddies Todd Feldman and chef Justin Bazdarich reunited decades later to open the original Speedy Romeo location in Clinton Hill Brooklyn followed by a 2nd location on Clinton Street on the Lower East Side. Both feature kitchens fueled only by wood and some of the best pizza in town.G

Equitrekking  "Wyoming"  Equitrekking host Darley Newman begins at UXU Ranch for scenic and challenging riding on surefooted horses in the Shoshone National Forest. Darley and ranch owner Tuff ride by the majestic hoodoos and to high elevations for views of colorful canyons, glaciers and mountaintops. Darley explores the wildlife and geology of Yellowstone National Park on foot, before heading to the Cody rodeo. D
