Nigella: At My Table   Nigella Lawson is back with a brand new series packed with simple recipes full of complex flavor. In the first episode, Nigella shares new discoveries like her Turkish-inspired eggs, as well as old-fashioned favorites including the aptly named Queen of Puddings. For a relaxed get together around the table, Nigella rustles up a gloriously simple chicken and pea traybake. For times of urgent need, there are her emergency brownies, and she finds a new use for a spiralizer.G

Rough Cut with Fine Woodworking   Host Tom McLaughlin welcomes guest and veteran woodworker Terry Moore to his wood shop this week on Rough Cut with Fine Woodworking. Terry shares his technique for designing a dramatic sunburst walnut veneer pattern on a round side table while Tom heads to the lathe to show how to turn an Art Deco-inspired column. The two collaborate on the cross lapped joinery feet and the end result is an elegant, smooth, intriguing piece which is very pleasing to the eye. D

Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope  "Bhutan - Part 1 - Gross National Happiness"  Travel is a life-changing experience, though often these changes come when least expected. Joseph heads to the Kingdom of Bhutan, a devout Buddhist country, fully aware of the possibilities for enlightenment that Bhutan offers him and his viewers. His trip through the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" begins in Paro with a conversation with an esteemed Buddhist master and an invitation to watch a local thangka (spiritual art) artist at work. D

Samantha Brown's Places to Love  "Xi'an, China"  Samantha travels to the ancient city of Xi'an, China, that once served as China's capital and dates back over 3,000 years. Feeling a little jet-lagged, Samantha stops off a local health clinic that has been practicing for more than 500 years using traditional Chinese medicine. Along her journey, Samantha rides a bike atop the ancient City Wall that still fortifies Xi'an, visits the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Terracotta Warriors and attends a spectacular outdoor performance of "The Song of the Everlasting Sorrow. Martha Stewart's Cooking School  "On The Bone"  The most flavorful, tender cuts of meat are often cooked on the bone. In this episode, Martha shares techniques-braising, searing, slow-roasting, and grilling-in four different recipes featuring bone-in cuts: sumptuous oxtail, meaty slow-roasted beef ribs, envy-inducing cowboy steak, and Korean short-rib kebabs. America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Soup for Dinner"  Test cook Dan Souza makes Julia the ultimate chicken bouillabaisse. Tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges host Bridget Lancaster to a tasting of cinnamon, and then Julia and Bridget uncover the secret to the perfect Greek chicken and rice soup with egg and lemon (avgolemomo). D

Pati's Mexican Table  "Backyard Picnic"  Pati is throwing a picnic for family and friends in her backyard. She'll make some of her favorite "picnic foods" and serve everyone outside picnic-style. It also happens to be her husband Dany's birthday, so a big surprise is in store! Recipe 1: Crazy Sandwich with Chicken, Refried Beans, Plantain and Avocado; Recipe 2: Potato and Poblano Rajas Salad; Recipe 3: Mango Puff; Recipe 4: Grapefruit and Guava Spritzer with Agave. D

Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen  "In The Fire"  The first "grills" possessed neither grates nor burners. The grilling was done right in the embers. The march towards barbecue enlightenment hasn't completely eliminated this primal method of grilling. D

Islands Without Cars with Kira Hesser  "France's Isle of Porquerolles"  Hesser visits the island of Porquerolles. Just 20 minutes by boat from France's famed Cote d'Azur, the island is dotted with five small ranges of hills, lined with cliffs and beaches and is renowned for the best weather in France with 275 sunny days per year.G
