Cyberchase  "Snow Day to Be Exact"  Hacker steals the powerful sunisphere from Solaria, causing the cyberworld's sunny vacation paradise to be covered in snow! In a fun-filled chase across the snowy terrain, the kids discover the power and speed of estimation in order to recover the glowing orb from Buzz and Delete before the temperature reaches zero and the site freezes over forever. Quilting Arts  "Celebrating Sheers"  Sheer fabrics open up new design opportunities. Textile artist Lisa Walton paints, cuts and folds sheer organza to make origami designs. Printmaker Martha Wolfe celebrates the time-honored Korean art of pojagi with printed and painted organza she sews with flat-felled seams. D

Paint This With Jerry Yarnell  "Artful Refuge, Part 2"  In episode 2, Jerry shows his viewers how to paint in the very distant trees using the #4 script brush. Then shows how to apply the distant leaves using the #4 and #6 bristle brushes. He now shows how to dry-brush in the fog/mist and how to apply the middle-ground trees, brush, and grasses. D

Nigella: At My Table   Nigella cooks more warming, comforting and inspirational recipes. Perfect for winding down at the end of a long day, there's a cozy supper of chicken with red grapes and Marsala, followed by a deeply divine sunken chocolate amaretto cake, with crumbled amaretti cream dolloped alongside. For a dish that's as simple to make as it is rewarding to eat, there's Nigella's mussels with pasta, and just as delicious is her autumnal radicchio, chestnut and blue cheese salad. D

Globe Trekker  "Food Hour: Provence, France"  Culinary writer Rosie Lovell explores the South of France's famous Cote D'Azur and encounters a typically rustic cuisine far removed from the haughtiness of renowned French cooking - the ubiquitous (and largely unaffordable) foie gras and truffles noir! Instead, Rosie discovers that the colloquial cuisine is shaped not just by the seasons but also by a wide-ranging climate, soil and geology. This is a remarkable region blessed with sun, sea, mountains, flowing rivers and lush plateau - offering up the most eclectic and fantastic produce served fresh on the plate. Bon appetit!. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Vibrant Mediterranean Cooking"  Test cook Dan Souza makes Bridget foolproof swordfish skewers with tomato-scallion caponata on the grill. Tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Julia to a tasting of feta, and then test cook Becky Hays makes Julia a vibrant Mediterranean favorite: Egyptian barley salad. D

Simply Ming  "Orjan Johannessen"  Ming continues cooking through Norway, meeting up with chef Orjan Johannessen for a feast of Norwegian proportions! Joined by Orjan's parents, the two chefs create two distinctive Fjord Trout meals, while the Johannessen's create a pickled herring and caramel pudding. Each dish highlights the tastes and traditions of this Scandinavian nation. D

Ellie's Real Good Food  "Cheese-Crazy Daddy"  We all love cheese - who doesn't? But there can be too much of a good thing. Ellie answers an SOS from a home where cheese has completely taken over the menu. Ellie, a self-proclaimed cheesehead herself, shows how to keep from going overboard with cheese and instead utilize its best assets - its great flavor and health benefits. D

Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge  "Ethiopia: The Omo Valley"  Wolfe makes his way through muddy roads and swollen rivers to the Harner, Karo and Surma tribes to document their unique body painting, elaborate adornments and timeless ceremonies.G
