Rudy Maxa's World  "Buenos Aires, Argentina"  The style and verve of one of South America's most beautiful capitals is the focus of this episode that highlights Argentina's national dance, the tango, as well as the energy that its diverse population brings to the urban landscape. The HD lens brings to the fore the graceful and classic architecture of Buenos Aires, exemplified by the San Telmo neighborhood whose Sunday market is traditionally closed at sunset by an impromptu street band that marches through the streets, collecting dancers and revelers with its insistent drumbeats. At local tango parlors called milongas, Buenos Aires residents, known as portenos, lend an air of authenticity to the dance that grew up in the working class neighborhoods of the city. D

P. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Art and the Garden"  Allen spends time in New York with artist and author Robert Dash. They discuss the Madoo Conservancy, described as one of the 10 best gardens in America.G

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 10 of 16"  Master carpenter Norm Abram and general contractor Tom Silva rebuild the front door surround to eliminate rot and also to create a more attractive and historically accurate entranceway. Certified arborist Matt Foti inspects the ailing American beech tree, and finding die back and root compaction, prescribes deep root injections that will both amend and aerate the soil. Host Kevin O'Connor meets nurse-turned-general contractor Monica MacKenzie at an antique home she recently renovated in Hingham, Massachusetts. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Chippendale Footstool"  The s-curve legs and ball and claw feet are the dramatic features of Tommy's Chippendale footstool. Many furniture makers get defeated by the ball and claw, but in this episode, Tommy stops by master carver Will Neptune's shop to get tips on an incredibly easy way to break it down.G

Baumann concludes the show by painting 20 Mule Team Canyon. D

Simply Ming  "Sesame Paste"  Sesame in all forms is a common ingredient in Asian cuisine, and a sesame paste could almost be considered a Chinese version of peanut butter. Ming concocts a master recipe for Sesame Paste and creates Chicken-Cucumber Noodles and Sesame-Orange Pork Rice Noodles. While in Beijing, Ming visits with restaurateur Frank Chang to learn more about Chinese hot pot. D
