On Story  "Thelma & Louise: A Conversation with Callie Khouri"  Callie Khouri reflects upon her experience working with Ridley Scott and writing the classic female-driven-buddy film, Thelma and Louise. Followed by Avram Dodson's short film, Pistachio Milk, a coming of age tale about a young suitor using only his wits and a bottle of pistachio milk to pursue his love interest. D

Cyberchase  "Hackerized!"  Someone has hacked Sensible Flats so that everyone looks and acts like Hacker. The real Hacker tries to find out who did it while the CyberSquad seeks to save the town. To do so, though, they must scale a rocky cliff in less than three minutes.G

Quilting Arts  "Celebrating Sheers"  Sheer fabrics open up new design opportunities. Textile artist Lisa Walton paints, cuts and folds sheer organza to make origami designs. Printmaker Martha Wolfe celebrates the time-honored Korean art of pojagi with printed and painted organza she sews with flat-felled seams. D

Paint This With Jerry Yarnell  "Yellowstone Falls, Part 2"  In episode 2, Jerry continues underpainting the middle- and fore-ground rock formations. Then begins adding distant mist/fog and paints in the distant pine trees along the ridge of middle-ground rock formations. Now he paints in the first layer of highlights on the falls. D

Chef's Life  "Liver Lover"  Vivian visits a restaurant known for fried liver and learns that not all livers are created equal, but all are equally good for you. Mrs. Scarlett's humble beef liver and onions inspires Vivian to add a fancy, controversial liver dish to the menu. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Fish Around The World"  Good and good for you, fish is a staple in so many cuisines. Noted Indian chef Floyd Cardoz joins Sara to cook wild striped bass curry from his native Goa. Then Sara has a hearty one-pan dish of Greek shrimp, farro and greens. D

This Old House  "Charleston Brick and Mortar"  An old fireplace will house a new stove. Tommy discusses using interior casework with exposed brick. The kitchen house brick needs repointing. D

Globe Trekker  "Food Hour: Provence, France"  Culinary writer Rosie Lovell explores the South of France's famous Cote D'Azur and encounters a typically rustic cuisine far removed from the haughtiness of renowned French cooking - the ubiquitous (and largely unaffordable) foie gras and truffles noir! Instead, Rosie discovers that the colloquial cuisine is shaped not just by the seasons but also by a wide-ranging climate, soil and geology. This is a remarkable region blessed with sun, sea, mountains, flowing rivers and lush plateau - offering up the most eclectic and fantastic produce served fresh on the plate. Bon appetit!. D

Simply Ming  "Adam Richman"  This week on Simply Ming,, Adam Richman, host of "Man V. Food" and "Man Finds Food," joins Ming in his loft. They start off with a fun cocktail called a Port-Au-Prince sour; then, it's on to making their own styles of BLTs. Adam makes a salmon BLT while Ming prepares a kosher BLT without the bacon, lettuce, or tomato. D

Kitchen Wisdom of Cecilia Chiang  "The Best Chinese Restaurant In America"  When Cecilia first opened the Mandarin in 1960, business was slow-a bit like the scene from the movie "Big Night" where nobody shows up. But then Herb Caen, front page gossip columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, wrote about the Mandarin and from that moment on, there were lines out the door. In 1967, Cecilia moved to the recently renovated Ghirardelli Square, where she opened an elegant, temple-like restaurant with 300 seats and white tablecloths. D

Born to Explore with Richard Wiese  "Scotland: Vikings, Puffins & Ponies"  Travel with host Richard Wiese to the Shetland Islands in northern Scotland. At a renowned breeding farm, Richard meets a herd of pint-sized Shetland ponies; on the craggy cliffs of Sumburgh Head, he encounters thousands of sea birds, including pintsized puffins. He meets a lively woman who reveals the secrets for knitting the classic Shetland sweater and explores life below the waters of the North Sea. D
