Simply Ming  "Todd English"  This week on Simply Ming, renowned chef Todd English shows us how to make pizza - on the grill! Todd opts for a pizza with fontina fonduta, meatball ribbons, shaved artichokes and Heirloom pomodoro fresco. Meanwhile, Ming shakes things up with a scallion pancake pizza topped with spicy chicken.G

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Beantown"  The best chefs know that beans can round out a meal with extra flavor and texture, and today we have two of the best chefs. Joey Campanaro of New York's Little Owl makes an amazing salad dressing chicken with escarole and bean salad on the side, and chef Ming Tsai joins his old buddy Sara to make black bean scallops and zucchini. Sara then takes to the woods to search for edible wild plants with a professional forager who sells her finds to New York's top chefs. D

Jacques Pepin: Heart & Soul  "La Cocina Ole"  Annual trips to Mexico and visits with fellow chef Rick Bayless are the inspiration for Jacques' tasty garlic and pasilla soup. Jacques continues the Mexican-themed menu as he demonstrates his chicken with chili sauce and achiote rice, a recipe that boasts bright, bold aromas and textures. Finally, Jacques puts leftover bananas to good use for his simply scrumptious banana gratin dessert. D

Simply Ming  "Lidia Bastianich"  This week on Simply Ming, legendary and James Beard award-winning Italian chef Lidia Bastianich is here. She's the author of many Italian cookbooks including her most recent, Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine. Lidia is also expanding her Eataly empire to include Boston. D

The Jazzy Vegetarian  "Gluten-Free Party Menu"  Host Laura Theodore prepares vegan party recipes that are gluten and soy free. Featured guest: Lidia Bastianich. This fabulous menu starts with a creamy Butternut Squash Soup drizzled with delectable Cashew Cream. D

Simply Ming  "Rick Bayless"  PBS's own Chef Rick Bayless visits Ming in his loft this week to share his Mexican flavors. Rick, who has several restaurants in Chicago including the Frontera Grill and Topolobampo, which received the James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant in 2017, cooks up Mexican street corn tacos with homemade corn tortillas, while Ming makes his new egg omelet wrap with a corn, tomato, watercress and fermented black bean salsa. D

Baking with Julia   Martha Stewart, a magazine editor, star of her own television show and author of the popluar "Weddings" book joins Julia to bake one grand and glorious three-tiered wedding cake. Martha prepares the batter and bakes each layer in graduated diamond-shaped cake forms. While the cake bakes, and then chills, Martha creates a variety of delicately realistic and delicious marzipan fruits, right down to the little stems and leaves. D

Baking with Julia   Guest Martha Stewart returns to complete her three-tiered wedding cake decorated with yellow buttercreme icing and handmade marzipan fruit in this episode of BAKING WITH JULIA. In this second of a two-part episode, Stewart puts together the individual cakes that serve as the building blocks of this dessert, inserting a baked crunchy almond and egg white wafer and apricot jam between individual layers and decorating with the icing and candy fruit garnish. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "New England Classics"  Host Julia Collin Davison goes into the test kitchen with host Bridget Lancaster to reveal the secrets to making home-corned beef with vegetables. Then, tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Bridget to a tasting of sherry vinegar. Next, science expert Dan Souza uncovers the science of salt diffusion and nitrites. D
