On Story  "Charles Burnett: Film As A Means for Social Change"  Writer/Director/Producer Charles Burnett shares his career development process in narrative and documentary filmmaking with Killer of Sheep (1978), his seminal film, which was definitive in highlighting African American cultural experience. Burnett's films Killer of Sheep and To Sleep with Anger were both added to the National Film Registry at the Library of Congress for being culturally significant. D

Cyberchase  "Watts of Halloween Trouble"  Matt is setting up the farm for his family's annual Halloween Pumpkin Patch Party and he is so excited! All his relatives come for the celebration, and even Grammy will be there this year! Inez and Jackie urge Matt to take a quick break and go into Cyberspace for Haunt-O-Rama at R-Fair City - an amusement park cybersite lit up to the nines for the Halloween holiday. The girls assure Matt he will be back home in plenty of time, and he agrees to go. But all their plans change when Hacker traps the kids on R-Fair City, hacking the portal system so they can't get back to Earth! (He thought he was keeping them out of Cyberspace for good, but alas, Buzz and Delete botched their task yet again. D

Knit and Crochet Now  "Seasonal Wreaths"  Show off your knit and crochet skills right on your front door, with a colorful wreath to announce the season. Rohn Strong gets us ready for the holidays with a beautiful knit holly wreath. Then we change seasons with a fabulous fall crochet wreath with amazing autumn colors demonstrated by Vanessa Wilson. D

Painting with Wilson Bickford  "Silent Night"  Drawing from his Northern New York roots, Wilson paints a beautiful nighttime snowy landscape. The full moon glistens off the snow-covered pine trees while flakes softly fall. D

For the perfect start to the day, there's a breakfast inspired by her university days, fried bread and tomato hash. Yan Can Cook: Spice Kingdom  "Tomorrow's Chengdu"  Martin explores the new township of Tianfu, a model city in development that will be the model of future cities in China. As high tech industry is a main draw in Tianfu, Martin visits some of these new software developers, and a Mao Chai restaurant, the popular choice for lunch among many new tech workers. That evening Martin samples the molecular gastronomy of chef Huang atop a Chengdu high rise. D

Dream of Italy  "Umbria"  Umbria has long loomed in the shadow of neighboring Tuscany but visits to Assisi and Perugia introduce the viewers to the rich treasures of this region. In Perugia, we meet two women carrying on their family traditions -- Maddalena Forenza creating stained glass and Marta Cucchia and her handmade textiles. Just outside Perugia, at the Perugina Chocolate School, chocolate maestro Massimiliano Guidubaldi teaches Kathy to make the famous Baci candy. D

She explores a range of other sheep and goat milk cheeses that are new to most Americans. D
