Wild Kratts  "Googly-Eye: The Night Guru"  The Kratt brothers secretly "borrow" Aviva's half finished night vision goggles to go in search of a mysterious nocturnal creature. But when the unstable goggles stop working, the brothers find themselves taken in by the nocturnal society of the tarsier. As they investigate, the Wild Kratts team discovers that nocturnal creatures only come out at night and learn that eyes help a creature see by collecting the light that comes from objects all around. National Parks: America's Best Idea  "The Empire of Grandeur (1915-1919)"  After failing to stop Hetch Hetchy dam, the conservation movement pushes the federal government to establish one unified agency to oversee the now dozen national parks scattered among agencies. The National Park Service is established in 1916, directed by Stephen Mather, a wealthy businessman and passionate park advocate. He launches a campaign to expand the system and bring more visitors to the parks. His efforts include protecting the Grand Canyon as a national park. Part 3 of 6G

Mather embraces the opportunity and works to build more roads in the parks. Enthusiasts like Margaret and Edward Gehrke of Nebraska begin "collecting" parks, visiting as many as they can. In North Carolina a reclusive writer and a Japanese immigrant join forces to launch a campaign to protect the last stands of virgin forest in the Smoky Mountains by establishing it as a park. In Wyoming, John D. Rockefeller Jr. begins quietly buying up land in the Teton Mountain Range and valley, planning to donate it for a park. Part 4 of 6G
