Rough Cut with Fine Woodworking   This week on Rough Cut with Fine Woodworking, Tom McLaughlin shares his contemporary take on a classic design: the Adirondack lawn chair. Using cypress, Tom shows how to cut a comfortable curve into the seat and back of this chair. The mitered joint on the arm rest is an additional detail which makes for a smooth, slanting arm that resolves into a drink holder. D

Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope  "Bhutan - Part 2 - Land of the Thunder Dragon"  Joseph's Bhutan adventure continues as he heads east over 14,000 foot mountain passes to the Phobjikha Valley to witness the graceful antics of the rare and endangered Black-Necked Crane. While the cranes are breathtaking in their elegance and beauty, his overnight stay in a local guest house and unexpected invitation to join villagers constructing their neighbors' adobe home proves most heart-warming and inspirational. He travels to Bumthang, the spiritual heart of Central Bhutan, where he traverses a challenging road to the annual Ngang Lhankhang "Swan Monastery" festival. D

Samantha Brown's Places to Love  "Ireland's Northwest Coast"  Samantha goes green and marks off the Northwest coast of Ireland from her bucket list as she starts an epic adventure in County Donegal. Samantha is inspired by a poetry reading of William Butler Yates by a local historian, as her exploration continues, Samantha hikes up the sea cliffs of Slieve League, herds sheep on a local farm, learns about the dying craft of wool-weaving and takes an exhilarating horseback ride along the beach. Samantha frequents a local Gastropub and meets its owners, who are transforming Irish cuisine and serving up regional Irish craft beer. D

Martha Stewart's Cooking School  "Cheese"  Attention all you cheese lovers: This show is for you. Martha makes fluffy, homemade ricotta with just three ingredients-so good, you'll never buy store-bought again. She prepares a retro party favorite, heavenly cheese fondue, and transforms butter, cheese, and pasta into legendary fettuccine alfredo. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Pressure Cooker Perfection"  Test cook Becky Hays makes Julia the fastest-ever farmhouse chicken noodle soup in the pressure cooker. Tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Bridget to a tasting of gruyere, and science expert Dan Souza reveals the science behind pressure cookers. Finally, test cook Elle Simone makes the perfect pressure-cooker pot roast. D

Pati's Mexican Table  "Chachi's Champoton Kitchen"  Pati heads to the coastal city of Champoton, located an hour south of Campeche. She meets her friend Chachi at the local market to gather groceries for a family dinner at Hacienda Niop. After tasting their way through the market, they head to the hacienda to prepare the area's prized dishes Pollo Pibil, a gigantic tamale cooked underground and pan de cazon, a local version of lasagna made with shark, beans, and spicy tomato sauce. Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen  "On The Rotisserie"  Many of the world's great grill cultures cook their best barbecue on the rotisserie. Consider Brazil's rodizio, Greek souvlaki and gyro, and Morocco's majestic mechoui. Islands Without Cars with Kira Hesser  "Italy's Aeolian Islands"  This series moves among small, sparsely populated isles of Europe where inhabitants move goods and travel by donkey, bicycle and other non-motorized vehicles. The Aeolian Islands boast one of the world's most active volcanos - erupting almost continuously for at least 2,000 years. This archipelago east of Sicily is known for perfect weather and beautiful scenery.G

Great Conversations  "Chris Matthews"  In Tip and the Gipper: When Politics Worked, MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews offers a firsthand and one-of-a-kind story of the friendship between President Reagan and Speaker of the House, Tip O'Neill. He draws on his own knowledge and extensive interviews for a timely lesson in how bipartisan cooperation can work. D
