Mike Colameco's Real Food  "Aquavit"  In 2014 Chef Emma Bengtsson talk over the helm as Chef at Aquavit. She had been the pastry chef and the owner thought she was ready for this next phase. A year later with three stars from the NY Times under her belt she became one of a handful of women worldwide to earn two Michelin Stars. D

Destination Craft with Jim West  "Bali"  Jim West journeys to Bali where master artisans teach woodcarving, free style and block batiking, painting and ikat weaving techniques. He discovers how crafting is associated with rice fields, makes a traditional Balinese dish, and creates crafts in the exotic Monkey Forest. He also sees an elephant who paints in a Safari Park. D

New Scandinavian Cooking  "Northern Sea Passage"  In this episode, Andreas investigates what the sea and land can offer while travelling north on the Norwegian Coastal Express. Andreas uses food produce he finds along the way, an apple-stuffed roast of lamb in the lush fjords of western Norway, and in the bacalao capital of the north he makes a dish with the dry and salted cod. When everybody is asleep Andreas serves artic char, a late bite to the crew onboard the ship. D

Equitrekking  "Alberta"  Equitrekking host Darley Newman travels to Alberta, Canada to experience Western adventure and stunning natural scenery. In Kananaskis, Darley treks amid the beautiful snow-capped Canadian Rockies with a longtime Alberta cowboy, conquering high altitudes and an August hailstorm. Next, Darley experiences the fast-paced Calgary Stampede with its equestrian competitions, Western art, rodeos and surprisingly diverse food offerings. D

Theater Talk  "Jerry Springer - The Opera and the Amateurs"  First, we welcome writer/composer Richard Thomas with actors Terrence Mann and Will Swenson from Thomas' controversial work Jerry Springer -The Opera, which created a sensation in the UK 13 years ago, but was considered so outrageous that it only now premieres in NYC in a production at The Pershing Theatre Center. Next, playwright Jordan Harrison, director Oliver Butler and actor Michael Cyril Creighton discuss their production of Harrison's play at The Vineyard Theatre, The Amateurs, about a theatre troop fleeing The Black Death in the middle ages and these players' contribution to the modern dramatic concepts of character and individuality. D
