One man sets a distance record for packing with horse and mule as he rides for charity. Teamsters explore part of the Oregon Trail with wagons and mules, and trail riders head into the Selkirk Mountains.G

Sesame Street  "Build A Better Basket"  Alan, Rosita, and Elmo are putting together a basket full of goodies for Little Red Riding Hood to take to her grandma's house. Red Riding Hood comes by ready to pick up the basket and asks if they tested it to make sure it was strong enough to stand up to the Big Bad Wolf. They agree to test the basket, and Alan holds it up saying, "I got a basket of goodies for you, Grandma. D

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood  "Daniel Shares His Tigertastic Car/Katerina Shares Her Tutu"  Daniel Shares his Tigertastic Car - Daniel and his friends are playing together in the park. Daniel has a new toy car and struggles to share it with the others. But in the end, Daniel learns that sharing is easy when he knows he will get his special toy back. D

Martha Speaks  "Therapy Dog/Martha's Duck Trouble"  Therapy Dog - Martha becomes a hospital therapy dog, spreading cheer among the patients. Martha's Duck Trouble - Ralph, the wounded duck from the lake, has settled in at Martha's house to convalesce.G

NOVA  "Ghosts of Machu Picchu"  NOVA joins a new generation of archaeologists as they probe areas of Peru's Machu Picchu that haven't been touched since the time of the Incas. They unearth burials of the people who built the site, and seek answers to origins of the city, high in the Andes and deserted by the time of the Spanish conquistadors. Recent work has uncovered new areas of the city and advanced new theories about it.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "Dublin and Mystical Sidetrips"  Rick explores Dublin's foreboding castle, patriotic jail and Trinity College with its illuminated Book of Kells - a bright light from the Dark Ages. At night, customers party in Temple Bar, awash with Celtic music and frothy pints of Guinness.G

Smart Travels - Europe with Rudy Maxa  "Milan and Lake Como"  Rudy explores an extravagantly decorated Gothic cathedral, looks at famous paintings and goes shopping.G

The Desert Speaks  "Patagonia's Glacial Landscape"  In this episode, host David Yetman and Argentine archeologist Maria Jose Figuerero make their way through the arid, desolate and windswept Patagonia landscape. The travelers make part of the trip on horseback along the Chilean/Argentine border, taking time to observe the glorious flight of the graceful Andean condor. They also stop in the city of Calafate, the gateway to Glacier National Park, and observe a local folklore performance group dancing and making music. D

Ciao Italia  "Let's Make Dinner/Facciamo La Cena"  Home is where you'll find the happiest of meals, especially when they have an Italian flair to them as only Mary Ann can give, starting with plump, roasted, Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, accompanied by her signature contorno, side dish, of Roasted Squash with Hazelnuts and Sage Sauce. But this great dinner's not done until dessert. How does a decadent Raspberry Mascarpone Budino Pudding sound to you? Thought so. D

Taste of History  "The Beautiful People of Colonial Williamsburg"  The Governor's Palace at Colonial Williamsburg was the epitome of fine dining and cultured cuisine. In this episode, we get a rare tour of the Palace kitchens, and see how the "beautiful people" of the Colonial Era lived. Chef Staib also gets elbow deep in chocolate making, after preparing Cod Fish Fritters, Stuffed Roasted Quail, Virginia Ham and Pineapple Sauerkraut in Peyton Randolph's kitchen. D

Simply Ming  "Tenderizing with Guest Jamie Bissonnette"  This week on Simply Ming - tenderizing - a culinary technique that helps meat, chicken and fish absorb all the wonderful flavors of your favorite marinades. Joining Ming in the kitchen is Chopped Champion - Chef Jamie Bissonnette. Together Ming and Jamie cook on the fly using mystery ingredients and zesty spices to come up with two tender recipes: a Tellegio Kimchee Steak Bomb and a Trio of Halibut New Style Sashimi. D

Martha Bakes  "Cheesecake"  Is there anything more indulgent than rich, creamy cheesecake? In this episode, Martha creates a feast of cheesecakes in a range of sizes and flavors, including an Italian ricotta cheesecake and individual cherry cheesecakes, and teaches viewers how to achieve perfect results every time. D

Austin City Limits  "Miranda Lambert/Jeff Bridges"  The multiple award-winning Lambert performs her greatest hits, followed by actor Bridges in his music television debut.G

Sesame Street  "Max The Magician"  Max the Magician magically appears on Sesame Street as Rosita, Big Bird, and Elmo are eating snacks with Chris. Everyone is excited to see some real magic. First, Max takes one scarf out of his pocket and puts it with two other scarves to make three scarves - what was two has become three. D

Dinosaur Train  "I'm A T. Rex!/Ned The Quadruped"  I'm a T. rex! - Buddy travels to Rexville on the Dinosaur Train and meets Delores Tyrannosaurus and her daughter Annie. When he sees that he shares all the same features, Buddy learns that he is a Tyrannosaurus rex! Ned the Quadruped - Buddy and Tiny tour the Dinosaur Train and earn their Junior Conductor hats while their friend Ned, a four-legged, long-necked Brachiosaurus and regular Train rider, tags along. D

12:30 pm 
Super Why!  "The Three Little Pigs"  Jill keeps knocking down Pig's tower and he wants her to stop! The Super Readers fly into the Three Little Pigs story and come face to face with the Big Bad Wolf himself. After all, he knows a thing or two about knocking things down. When all the huffing and puffing dies down, Pig learns an important lesson about friendship.G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Sniff and Seek/Aye Aye!"  Sniff and Seek - Nick's most favourite smell is chocolate chip cookies! But what is Sally's? She's not sure. What better way to find out than by playing sniff and seek with a skunk! Cat introduces Nick and Sally to Whiffy, and in the adventure of finding Sally's favourite smell they discover how good Whiffy is at protecting himself with his very own special smell. Aye Aye! - Nick and Sally are making Halloween masks, but they want to make them really scary. D

Wild Kratts  "Kickin' It with the Roos"  When Chris and Martin meet up with a mob of Red kangaroos, they get their car keys stolen by a joey and have to figure out how to get them back from the tricky little guy. As they jump into the life of the roos to search for the missing keys, the brothers realize that animals live in different kinds of social groups and they have important behaviors that keep the group together and safe. But everybody wonders just how safe this search has become, when Chris and Martin get tangled up in a kickboxing match with the dominant male and caught in the middle of a dingo attack. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Cook Once, Eat Twice"  Sara's easy strategy for quick meals is to cook once, eat twice. Spicy Roast Pork is a simple and delicious meal any night, but a visit with her brother to a Vietnamese food joint inspires Sara to turn that pork into delectable pork Banh Mi Sandwiches later in the week. Sauteed Duck Breasts one night become delicious Peking Duck Wraps the next. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Surprising Bulgaria"  Rick finds a time warp of old and new chic shops in the city, and donkey carts in the country.G

Tom, a widower, has a complicated relationship with his daughter, Amber. They both lust after their neighbor, Sally, who is having a party. They are desperate to be invited.G
