For times of urgent need, there are her emergency brownies, and she finds a new use for a spiralizer.G
6:30 pm
Steven Raichlen's Project Fire  "Grilling 24/7"  The time of day or night matters little to the world's hardcore pit masters, who think nothing of firing up grills or smokers or wood-burning ovens for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a late night snack. I often start my day with a barbecue breakfast, such as farm eggs grilled in a cast iron skillet with cream, crusty bread crumbs, Parmesan, and crisp shards of prosciutto. For lunch, we have wood-fired pizzas from the popular eclectic Industrial Eats in Buellton, California. D
7:00 pm

She begins with a delicious tomato and bread salad - a delicious tossed salad of country bread and juicy ripe tomatoes known as panzanella; a nourishing rice and lentil soup and a cannoli napoleon, a new twist on the old cannoli: ricotta cream with crunchy almonds and chocolate layered between fried pastry. D

My Greek Table with Diane Kochilas  "A Bite of Greek Red Wine"  Go on a picnic at a vineyard in Naoussa where one grape dominates the table: the local Xinomavro (pronounced xee NOE ma vroe), one of Greece's noblest reds. This delicious, tannic wine pairs perfectly with a cheese and spice stuffed leg of lamb and is the key ingredient in succulent red wine and sage potatoes. Red wine with fish is on the menu, too. D
10:00 pm
New Scandinavian Cooking  "Burning Sweet Desire"  There is a distinct word in Swedish for having something sweet together with a cup of coffee, namely fika.
