tasteMAKERS  "Fun Ferments"  The ancient preservation technique of fermentation turns out to have tremendous side benefits. In this episode of tasteMAKERS, travel with host Cat Neville to meet the team behind Edible Alchemy in San Diego, California. They vend at more than a dozen of the city's bustling farmers' markets and source directly from local organic farms, turning the region's bountiful produce into healthful and totally delicious fermented foods, including kombucha, sauerkraut and coconut yogurt. New Scandinavian Cooking  "Drama on a Plate"  Andreas travels to the port town of Skien in Eastern Norway, the hometown of Norway's most important playwright, Henrik Ibsen. For the main course, he goes hunting and prepares a tasty dish of wild duck cooked over an open fire and served with seasonal vegetables. D

Samantha Brown's Places to Love  "Xi'an, China"  Samantha travels to the ancient city of Xi'an, China, that once served as China's capital and dates back over 3,000 years. Feeling a little jet-lagged, Samantha stops off a local health clinic that has been practicing for more than 500 years using traditional Chinese medicine. Along her journey, Samantha rides a bike atop the ancient City Wall that still fortifies Xi'an, visits the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Terracotta Warriors and attends a spectacular outdoor performance of "The Song of the Everlasting Sorrow. Connect with English  "Review/The Emergency"  Kevin meets Rebecca at the Boston airport to tell her their father's heart attack was very serious. This includes a review of the storyline so far.G

Connect with English  "Bad News/Brothers"  Rebecca and Kevin's father has had a second heart attack and they call their father's estranged brother, Brendan, who lives in Illinois who arrives and reconciles with his brother just before he dies.G
