JFK - The Last Speech   On October 26, 1963, four weeks before President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, he delivered a speech at Amherst College to dedicate the Robert Frost Library. It was a remarkable address to the students that was covered by several of the networks - reinforcing Kennedy's belief in national service and the importance of the arts. It also has a back story of Kennedy's relationship with the poet Robert Frost (who read a poem at Kennedy's inauguration) and Frost acting as an emissary with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. D
