Painting with Wilson Bickford  "Silent Night"  Drawing from his Northern New York roots, Wilson paints a beautiful nighttime snowy landscape. The full moon glistens off the snow-covered pine trees while flakes softly fall. D

For the perfect start to the day, there's a breakfast inspired by her university days, fried bread and tomato hash. Yan Can Cook: Spice Kingdom  "Tomorrow's Chengdu"  Martin explores the new township of Tianfu, a model city in development that will be the model of future cities in China. As high tech industry is a main draw in Tianfu, Martin visits some of these new software developers, and a Mao Chai restaurant, the popular choice for lunch among many new tech workers. That evening Martin samples the molecular gastronomy of chef Huang atop a Chengdu high rise. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "North Wales: Feisty and Poetic"  Rick takes in Mount Snowdon, medieval castles and Victorian promenades. He learns a bit of Welsh, follows a miner deep into a slate mine, and herds sheep with a clever dog.G

Dream of Italy  "Umbria"  Umbria has long loomed in the shadow of neighboring Tuscany but visits to Assisi and Perugia introduce the viewers to the rich treasures of this region. In Perugia, we meet two women carrying on their family traditions -- Maddalena Forenza creating stained glass and Marta Cucchia and her handmade textiles. Just outside Perugia, at the Perugina Chocolate School, chocolate maestro Massimiliano Guidubaldi teaches Kathy to make the famous Baci candy. D

My Greek Table with Diane Kochilas  "Greek Mountain Cheeses"  Grass-fed takes on a whole other dimension here in Epirus, Greece's untrammeled northwestern mainland, where sheep and goats graze in the lush green mountains. Here, Diane follows the country's best-known cheese, feta, from its artisanal roots to modern state-of-the-art production. She explores a range of other sheep and goat milk cheeses that are new to most Americans. D
