Lazan was imprisoned for more than six years in four camps, including the Bergen-Belsen camp, where Anne Frank died.G

The Desert Speaks  "Cruising on the Mother Road"  Clad in appropriate leather gear and helmets, host David Yetman and ecologist Yar Petryszyn cruise through the second half of the deserts along Route 66, this time on Harley Davidson motorcycles. This phase of the journey begins in the Petrified Forest near the border of Arizona and New Mexico and traces the "mother road" through the pines of Flagstaff to the Joshua trees of the Mojave Desert. The travelers stop in Winslow, Arizona at the La Posada Inn which has been open since the 1930s. D

Taste of History  "Nothing Grows On Exuma"  After the Revolutionary War, British Loyalists, who were no longer welcome in America, packed up their belongings, including their slaves, and sailed to Exuma, an island in the Bahamas. Their enterprise failed, and plantation owners returned to England, abandoning their slaves. The descendants of these slaves have kept their ancestors' rich culture alive on the island. D

Ernie introduces the Pteranodons to a herding game that makes even Mrs. Pteranodon put on her game face! Jess Hesperornis - The Pteranodons venture to the Big Pond to find out if dinosaurs can live in the water. Their quandaries are quenched when they meet Jess Hesperornis, who turns out to be not only a water dwelling dino, but a bird as well!. D
