Filmmaker Tadashi Nakamura includes archival footage of Shimabukuro's teen-aged concerts in the musician's native Hawaii, and shows the evolution of the artist.G

Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma: Live from Tanglewood   Under the artistic direction of cellist Yo-Ho Ma, the group of musicians, composers and performing artists is celebrating 15 years of bringing audiences its unique take on "world music." Highlighted by solos on instruments seldom heard on stages in the United States and featuring original music reflecting individual cultures and experiences, the concert film is directed by documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville and includes behind-the-scenes interviews with the artists.G
