The program also highlights the glass creations of the Marioni family in Seattle, the inventions of ceramicist Cliff Lee and metal artist Holly Lee in rural Pennsylvania, and the inspirations that Oklahoma bootmaker Lisa Sorell provides for her daughters.G

Minnesota artists seek to infuse life with beauty through handmade everyday objects that are honest, inexpensive and functional. Lia Cook melds techniques of 18th-century Jacquard weaving with an inquiry into brain functioning.G

Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge  "Japan: Hokkaido and Honshu"  The Seattle-based photographer travels to northern Japan to view iconic red-crested cranes, then heads south to the mountains to take a dip in Nagano's hot springs with mischievous macaque snow monkeys. His photographic pilgrimage also includes the temples of Mt. Fugi and Koyosan.G
