Sesame Street  "Me Am What Me Am"  A very hungry Cookie Monster is waiting for Chris to finish baking cookies, but it's hard for him to wait! Chris offers Cookie Monster carrots to eat in the meantime, and he gobbles them all up. All of a sudden Mario Lopez, a reporter for EXTRA Sesame Street, appears and announces on his show that Cookie Monster is now the Veggie Monster! Cookie Monster, panicked, explains that even though he does love to eat healthy carrots, he is not the Veggie Monster. But everyone insists on calling him the Veggie Monster anyway. D

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood  "A Trip To The Enchanted Garden/A Trip To The Crayon Factory"  A Trip to the Enchanted Garden - The Tiger family is making strawberry pancakes for breakfast this morning, but when Mom looks more closely in the kitchen, she realizes there are no more strawberries left. They all head to the Enchanted Garden, where Mom Tiger shows Daniel the strawberry patch. Daniel is very curious, and learns that if he looks closely, he may be able to answer his own questions about how strawberries grow and learn something new. D

Martha Speaks  "Truman's Mad/Dog for a Day"  Truman's Mad When Truman sends away for a science kit, he dreams about all the new inventions he will create. NOVA  "Separating Twins"  Abandoned shortly after birth at an orphanage in Bangladesh, twin girls, Trishna and Krishna, are joined at the head and have little chance of survival. Aid workers take them to Australia where they spend two years battling for life before doctors can attempt a marathon separation surgery to allow them to live separate lives.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "Venice Sidetrips"  Rick puts on hip boots to wade into the muck of Venice and takes a speedboat tour of the lagoon. He visits Padua, Vicenza, Verona and Ravenna on the mainland.G

Rudy Maxa's World  "Montreal & Quebec City"  Two of the most unique and appealing cities in the world are just north of New England. You'll find brie, pate, jewel box-patisseries, and "s'il vous plait" right along with bagels, maple syrup, hockey, delis, and bocce ball. A modern skyscraper might be cheek-by-jowl with a 17th century, stone nunnery. D

The Desert Speaks  "Hummingbirds: from Desert to Jungle"  Beginning in the Sonoran Desert and finishing in Ecuador's mountaintop preserve of Loma Alta, this episode examines the life of the hummingbird. Southern Arizona is the perfect place to start, as it lays along the migratory route for these "winged jewels" and makes for an ideal place to study birds that come from as far away as British Columbia and Alaska. Then host David Yetman climbs to the mountaintop preserve of Loma Alta to join scientists as they research "hummers" found in the fog forest. D

Sesame Street  "Telly The Tiebreaker"  Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and some friends are making a beautiful block house together but can't agree whether to put a square or circle on top. Alan helps them solve the problem by having them raise their hands for the one they like best. After counting up the votes, the square wins by one. D

Dinosaur Train  "Remember The Alamosaurus/Sunrise, Sunset"  The Pteranodon kids and Dad get the idea to travel around on the Dinosaur Train and meet some of the biggest dinosaurs. They even sing a song, `The Biggest Dinosaurs', before meeting Allie Alamosaurus, an enormous, long-necked, plant eating sauropod who is very friendly. Allie explains that her huge, strong legs hardly bend at all, but she can still have fun playing games with the kids, and teaching them some of her favorites! Dad takes the Pteranodon kids on an overnight camping trip where they watch both a sunrise and sunset, learning that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. D

Super Why!  "The Story of the Tooth Fairy"  Whyatt has lost his very first tooth! When his mom tells Whyatt that the Tooth Fairy will come and take his tooth, Whyatt wants to know what happens if he wants to KEEP it? Super Why and his friends decide the best person to ask is the Tooth Fairy herself, so they set off to meet her in person. With a little bit of magic (and a little bit of floss) the reading heroes are able to get all their questions answered.G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Trees Company/Now You See Me"  Trees Company - Sally and Nick are playing up in their treehouse when Nick's mom calls them for lunch. Nick wonders what it would be like to stay up in that tree all the time! The Cat in the Hat knows! Or at least he has friends that do. In Jimmer Jammer Jungle the kids learn how different animals spend their entire lives in trees. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Dinner for Two"  Shopping and cooking for two has its own challenges, but Sara has tips and tricks to make these intimate dinners both easy and romantic. Chicken Saltimbocca with Artichoke Sauce is so elegant yet so easy - thin strips of chicken, sage and prosciutto enveloped in a creamy Marsala-based artichoke sauce. Eggs Baked in Red Wine is a cozy, classic French recipe, perfect for dinner by the fireplace. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Rome: Baroque Brilliance"  Rick finds a city busy with life and bursting with Baroque. He rambles through the heart of Rome admiring Bernini statues and pondering sunbeams inside St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican. Then he mingles with modern Romans during an early-evening stroll before dinner. He joins locals after dark at the Eternal City's most romantic nightspots.G
