Lidia's Italy In America  "Italian Style Breakfast for Dinner"  Lidia cooks frittatas today; they are delicious for lunch AND dinner and are also a great way to use leftover vegetables and day old bread. Recipes include Ricotta Frittata, Sausage, Eggs & Pepper Frittata and an Asparagus and Onion frittata. She also visits Brooklyn's famous Faicco with dear friend and restaurateur, Angelo Vivolo, to see their Italian American tradition of making sausage. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "A Taste of Spain"  Host Christopher Kimball goes into the kitchen with test cook Bridget Lancaster to learn the secrets to making perfect Catalan-Style Beef Stew with Mushrooms. Then, tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Chris to a tasting of spaghetti. Finally, test cook Julia Collin Davison shows Chris how to make classic Spanish-Style Toasted Pasta with Shrimp. D

Simply Ming  "Pan Sauces with Guest Norman Van Aken"  Front and center on this week's episode of Simply Ming are Pan Sauces - an easy way to use what's right in your pan to create great flavor. Joining Ming in the kitchen to demonstrate this indispensable culinary technique is Chef Norman Van Aken. Together they cook on the fly using surprise ingredients and Ming's East-West pantry to create: Pan Seared Steak, Beet Salad and Hash Browns and Pork Chop, Kimchee-Kale Pan Sauce and Sweet Potato Cake. D

Kimchi Chronicles  "The Street Food Chronicles"  Much like the entire continent of Asia, street food is hugely popular in Korea and many of the most beloved dishes in the country come from street carts and stands. In this episode, Marja and Jean-Georges eat street food all over the peninsula, including silkworm larvae, hoddeok, sweet pancakes filled with peanuts and sugar, and Dragon's Beard, a candy made of stretched honey and nuts. At home, Marja makes her version of bindaddeok, her signature take on this simple pancake made of freshly ground mung beans shallow-fried until browned and crisp. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Edinburgh"  Edinburgh is the historical and cultural heart of Scotland. We'll explore the castle, peek at the new parliament, dabble in the local literature, sip a little Scotch, get wrapped up in a kilt, and then stowaway on Her Majesty's yacht Britannia.G
