We show a brand new system using shipping containers to grow restaurant quality produce hydroponically, drop in on a New York city dweller creating hydroponic window gardens and go shopping to show you what it takes to start your own system, even on very little money. Cuisine Culture  "Carol Duval Leroy, Vertus, France"  Champagne has never been the same since Carol Duval Leroy took over her family's vineyards. We experience Champagne tasting competitions and authentic French cuisine on this gastronomical tour de force. Rising-star chef Michael Nizzero prepares a Tartare de Langoustine and two dishes made with ingredients from his garden: Vegetarian Gnocchi and variations of Rhubarb and Strawberry. D

Mexico -- One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless  "Mediterranean Baja"  The Baja California peninsula boasts a climate reminiscent of those on the Mediterranean Sea. Thousands of olive trees and vineyards in Northern Baja capture the distinctiveness of this region of Mexico. We explore the amazing grilled octopus at Tres Virgenes in La Paz and enjoy mesquite-grilled lamb with 9-chile mole sauce. D

She searches the rainforest for Brazil nuts, exotic fruits and herbal medicines, then heads to Recife, where Portuguese flavors dominate. She attends a barbecue with gauchos and ends her journey in Rio de Janeiro.G

Great Conversations  "David Plouffe and Richard Wolffe"  In this program, David Plouffe, political strategist and author of The Audacity to Win is interviewed by Richard Wolffe, award-winning journalist, political analyst for MSNBC, and author of Renegade: The Making of a President. David Plouffe was not just the architect of the campaign that put Barack Obama in the White House; he also built a grassroots movement that changed the face of politics.
